What types of personal identifiable information do we collect?
A. Digital Consultations
In order to reserve a digital consultation on the CEPHR Website, we will request the interested user to provide certain personal identifiable information, which may include:
- First and Last Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Company Information
- Optional Message
This information is further required for digital newsletter subscriptions, which customers may also sign up to receive on the CEPHR Website.
B. User Profiles
The CEPHR website rewards users with the opportunity to create and manage virtual profiles for purposes of interacting with CEPHR blog posts. These optional profiles are publicly viewable by both CEPHR and other website visitors. The profiles may include:
- The user’s username
- A list of other profiles followed by the user
- A list of all profiles following the user
- A list of all blog comments published by user
- A list of all blogs liked by user
- An “About” section describing the personality/identity of user
- Images (including a profile picture) and video links provided by user
- A “My Bookings” section (viewable only by user and CEPHR)
- A community page URL that links directly to user’s profile
Additionally, the user may choose to share his or her profile through a variety of social media websites. At the user’s option, each profile may be made private, which conceals its contents from other public users, but still permits access to CEPHR for account monitoring purposes.
How is customer information shared?
Without our users’ prior consent, CEPHR will not use personal identifiable information for any purpose other than that for which it is submitted. CEPHR uses personal identifiable information to reply to inquiries, generate website visitation metrics for internal review, and most importantly, coordinate and provide human resource services to all of our valued customers.
Personal identifiable information is internally available to CEPHR employees for purposes of providing requested services, and is also stored on the customer management portal of the CEPHR Website service provider (the “Service Provider”). The Service Provider assists us in evaluating our information security controls, maintaining our website, interpreting our site traffic, and contributing services and information to us and to users of our Site.
Only authorized CEPHR personnel and Service Provider employees are provided access to stored personal data, and these personnel and employees are required to treat this information as confidential. However, customer information is never shared with third-party advertisers, marketers, or other undisclosed parties.
Will CEPHR ever be compelled to share customer information with third parties?
Under certain circumstances, personal identifiable information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, or orders. Disclosure may also be necessary to protect the vital interests of a person or entity; to support auditing, compliance, and corporate government functions; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of CEPHR, our customers, or others.
Are there any restrictions on who may submit customer information to CEPHR?
CEPHR does not offer its services for purchase by children, and will not intentionally collect or post information from a child under the age of 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian. CEPHR will notify the child’s parent or guardian at the e-mail address provided by the prospective customer, alerting the parent or guardian to the child’s use of the Site and providing instructions as to how the parent or guardian can delete the child’s registration from the Web site.
CEPHR does not use personal identifiable information collected from children for marketing or promotional purposes, and does not disclose such information to any third party for any purpose whatsoever.
